A New Day Festival is a three day festival in the beautiful setting of Mount Ephraim Gardens, featuring the very best in Prog-rock, Classic rock, blues and roots music.
Created by enthusiastic music lovers who appreciate the importance of good ale (other beverages are available!) delicious food and great nostalgic music. This festival has it all and is about offering you an amazing weekend to remember, with like-minded people in the heart of the Kent countryside. Join us.

The festival begins on Friday at noon but for those eager to get here and beat the traffic and get a good camping pitch the campsite will open on Thursday. The bar will be open and some food stalls, and we will have some acoustic entertainment. If you fancy joining us for a pre-festival chill-out evening, please book your additional camping night when you purchase your festival ticket.

Faversham Hop Festival

The Faversham Hop Festival is held during late August or early September every year. Stalls and pubs are always busy during the 2 day event and are always provide great entertainment.

Like any child growing into adulthood, the Hop Festival has developed to express its own personality. A variation on a theme first delivered under the guidance of loving parents. It's no longer a beer festival, morris festival or folk festival. There are stalls but it isn't a street market or food festival. Hosts a fun fair but it isn't a fairground. It's free to enter. And with all of these things, we have come to love it.

From Tractors to Amplifiers, Retro to hip and back again, the festival has hopped between nostalgia and leading edge entertainment, involving more and more of the community that hosts it along the way.

Originally, it looked to the history of a hopping celebration as it would have been. It developed to provide entertainment relevant to a visiting hopping family as it would be today. Now it's striking a balance.

As an internationally renowned local festival we'll continue to develop that balance, and hope you'll continue to enjoy it with us year after year.
