Dunkirk is well served by a variety of clubs and societies that provide leisure and cultural activities in the wider local area from Canterbury to Faversham, Whitstable and Herne Bay and Dover to Deal, all within 30 minutes of driving from Dunkirk.

Canterbury is full of diverse cultures and has Canterbury Cathedral as a main focus due to the many visitors from the Clergy and tourist populations. With many other historical buildings on offer it is a bustling city that has wide and varied leisure activities on offer.

Faversham offers a wide variety of leisure activities for all ages, from the local Shepherd Neame brewery established in the 1600's to its museums and ancient buildings, the creek with its many shops and business along its banks to the annual Hop Festival.

We are well served with seaside activities, Margate beach being one of the best sandy beaches in the Country, Herne Bay with its bustling resort and beach huts and Whitstable with its annual Oyster Festival, Deal a small seaside town popular with tourists and Dover one of the main sea ports through which many freight lorries and Passengers pass through, and the Historic Dover Castle.

The Young People are also catered for with the usual Scouts and Guides as well as Football and other sports.
