Street Furniture

Street furniture comes in a number of guises and is usually provided by Swale Borough Council, Highways is responsible for the bollards and guard rails in and around the area. Kent County Council provide litter bins and arrange their emptying.

Swale Borough Council provides most of the benches, as well as the Dog Bins, both along the street and in the Parks and Open areas . Some of the seats have been donated by members of the public usually in the memory of a loved one.
