Young People's Activities
Faversham District Scouts
Besides the various sporting clubs who provide a service for the youth, there is also the Scout and Guide association who are active in Faversham town.
The Faversham District covers Faversham, Oare, Luddenham, Ospringe, Newnham, Doddington, Challock, Sheldwich, Boughton-Under-Blean, Dunkirk, Hernhill and Dargate. Within this area there are 4 scout groups, an explorer scout unit and a district scout network offering young people, male and female between the ages of 6-25, the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities. Most of the groups have a beaver colony, cub pack and scout troop. The explorer scout unit is based in Faversham and the scout network members meet regularly.

Faversham Activity Centre
Faversham Activity Centre is a multipurpose, child friendly, clean facility which has both a gymnastics arena as well as a super fun soft indoor play area. Here the children can use their imaginations as they zoom down slides, roll over and under bridges and scramble across nets.
They even have a special area for under 2s with a slide, playhouse and ball pit. Your child can meet up with friends as well as make new ones as they run, jump and manoeuvre their way across the different areas. You can watch your child enjoy themselves as you relax with a drink and a bite to eat. Check out the Cafe Menu through the link on our website.
A Parent Toddler session is available on Mondays, 9:30am to 11.30am during term time. Children get a free cup drink and biscuit, adults get a free tea or coffee, all for just £4 per child!
They host great children's parties! They also have a purpose built gymnastics arena where children learn how to do gymnastics!

Faversham Swimming Pool
Faversham Swimming Pools offers all-year-round swimming with the added summer-time bonus of three fantastic outdoor pools; 33 metre pool with diving boards (1m and 3m springboard and a 5m platform), a paddling pool and a wild water rapids pool which are all available from May to September.
The outdoor pools are very popular with children and families as they offer a great day out. You can sit on the grass around the pools and eat your picnic or purchase drinks and food from the kiosks.
The outside pools are heated during the summer months to ensure they are always pleasantly warm, so even if the weather is less than favourable you can have a great swim.
The indoor pools are open all year and are host to many activities from swimming lessons, aqua aerobics, aqua natal classes, private parties, aquababes, early bird swimming sessions and fun sessions with floats and inflatables. But no diving allowed in the indoor pools
